About The Mission Critical Investor
The Mission Critical Investor is a public-market research newsletter focused on education, defense, AI, infrastructure, education, aerospace, energy, and other high-stakes sectors where failure is not an option.
I write about businesses where technology, capital allocation, government demand, regulation, and valuation intersect. The goal is not to chase hype. It is to understand whether the market is correctly pricing durable demand, competitive advantage, margin structure, management incentives, and long-term business quality.
What I write about
I cover public companies and investment themes across mission-critical markets, including education, defense technology, artificial intelligence, education and workforce training, infrastructure, energy, aerospace, SPACs, special situations, and companies undergoing strategic change.
How I analyze companies
Each piece applies a traditional investor framework: reading filings, evaluating management commentary, studying industry structure, assessing competitive dynamics, and thinking carefully about valuation.
My background is in corporate development, M&A, strategic finance, investor relations, and public-company analysis. I approach companies through both an investor lens and an operator lens: what is the business model, what are the incentives, what can go wrong, and what is the market missing?
